A Note About Order
While each image is without a doubt the direct result of its context at the time of its making, there remains that thought of the depicted moments, places and faces, existing if not out of time and space, then within a newly defined dimension, something that we might call the "third component".
The idea of a room defined by what is shown and by our response to it, forming new connections and a possible new understanding - if only to understand that none of these terms truly matter while being experienced.
The photographs on this page have, therefore, not been sorted by theme or chronology. Instead the order follows a general aesthetic and, it is hoped, an invisible red thread leading us through the different lives and landscapes, starting both up and down, left and right.
